Mary Elizabeth Peterson, of Clear Lake, Minnesota, passed away on Wednesday, September, 30, 2026, at the age of 82. She was born on June 15, 1944 in Minneapolis, Minnesota, where she grew up with four sisters and four brothers.
Mary graduated from Patrick Henry high school in 1962 and worked as an administrative director with the University of MN School of Medicine.
She was actively involved in sewing, crafts, reading, and playing 500.
Mary was preceded in death by her parents, John R. and Arlene Van Drasek, and nephew, Michael Cuda.
She was survived by her children, Julie A. and Paul D. Peterson; sisters, Margaret Cuda, Cindy Pai, Dorothy Joneitz, and Heidi Edwards; and brothers, John R. Van Drasek, Jr., Charles Van Drasek, George Van Drasek, and Joseph Van Drasek.
