Mary Patricia Feiten

Mary Patricia Feiten, of Saint Michael, Minnesota, passed away on Wednesday, April 16, 2025. Mary was born on Aug 22, 1962, in Steele County and was adopted by loving parents, Phil and Therese Feiten of Winona, MN.

Mary graduated from Cotter High School in 1980. After 20+ years in Chicago, Mary moved to St. Michael in 2010. There she found a life partner, Mark Gardner, and they were enjoying life together for the past 15 years.

Mary was a kind and sociable person who enjoyed meeting new people and became fast friends with many of them. She would light up the room with her sense of humor. A dog lover at heart, Mary seemed to interact with every dog that crossed her path. Mary also loved to experience new things. Some recent experiences included going to a NASCAR event and watching the Food Network channel to learn new ways to cook and recipes to try.

Mary was preceded in death by her mother, Therese, and sister, Lori.

She is survived by her life partner, Mark; father, Philip (Barbara); brothers, Tom (Michelle) and Joe; and several nieces and nephews.

The family will be holding a private celebration of life at a later date.
