Mary Elizabeth Bray

It is with overwhelming sadness that we announce the passing of Mary Elizabeth Bray on August 29 at the age of 64.

Mary passed due to complications from brain surgery. Mary was a funny, smart, kind, loyal and compassionate woman.

She was born in St. Paul, MN on August 1st, 1959. Mary attended the University of Minnesota where she received her bachelor's degree. After college Mary went to work for EDS first in Detroit and then back to the Minneapolis area. At the age of 35, Mary decided to pursue a degree in medicine. She attended East Virginia Medical school and decided on the field of OB/GYN. She worked in Duluth for many years and for the last two years in Hutchinson. She was a beloved doctor by the staff and her patients.

Mary leaves behind her son, Michael; German shepherd, Anna; Michael’s father, Aaron; sisters, Louise (Loay) and Susan (Patrick); brother, John (Kathy); nephews, Romaine, Hamad, Mohamad, Charlie, Henry, and niece, Kasey. Mary has many friends and we extend our thanks for the support and love they showed for Mary.

There will be a celebration of life for Mary tentatively set for September 14th at the Medina Ballroom from 5 to 10. Please come and share some “Mary” stories.
