Mary Alice Faye Reed

Mary Alice Faye Reed, age 84, of Eden Prairie, Minnesota passed away on Monday, February 17, 2025. She was born in Two Harbors, Minnesota and grew up in Finland, Minnesota without indoor plumbing or a refrigerator, and attended a one room schoolhouse until entering Two Harbors High School. She was the high school valedictorian and received a bachelor’s degree in communications from St. Catherine University in St. Paul, Minnesota. A life-long learner, she continued studies in nursing and divinity throughout her life.

Mary Alice is survived by her siblings, Thomas, John, Adele; children, Erik, Kirsten, Steen, Heather; 11 grandchildren, 10 great-grandchildren.

The family would like to thank the staff at Brookdale Eden Prairie and St. Croix Hospice for the care and compassion they showed our mom in her final days.

Family and friends are invited to attend a Celebration of Life in the Constitution Hall banquet room at Brooklyn Center Community Center, 6301 Shingle Creek Pkwy, Brooklyn Center, MN 55430, on Saturday, March 1st, from 11am to 2pm. A light lunch will be served. Dress will be casual.
