Marlene Louise Jensen

Marlene Louise Jensen of Wyoming, Minnesota, passed away peacefully surrounded by her children on September 28, 2026, at the age of 91. She was preceded in death by her husband, Robert Jensen; her parents, Alfred and Bertha Grossmann; sister, Norma Gerjets; brother, Herb Grossmann; best friend, Sally Michaud. She is survived by her children, Jean, Ken (Patricia), Patti (Willie), Rob, Mary; six grandchildren; 11 great-grandchildren; special sister in law, Joan Grossmann; as well as many nieces and nephews.

Marlene was witty, fiercely independent, a lover of animals, and a master scrabble player. Her memory will live on through her handmade Christmas ornaments, the time she broke her wrist playing tag with her grandchildren (at a time in most people’s lives when they would no longer be running), and her coveted beef tenderloin recipe.

No memorial service will take place, but family and friends will gather in the Spring for an informal celebration to honor her life. The family would like to thank Hospice of the Midwest for their special care of Marlene during the last weeks of her life.
