Marie was a beloved wife, mother, and grandmother.
She was an exceptionally talented florist who especially loved spending time with family.
Some of her favorite things to do was having tea and conversation with family and friends, sitting at Lake Johanna just enjoying the view, going to the movies with her hubby, crafting some of which included crocheting, rubber stamping, and quilting. She also enjoyed playing games like UNO and dominoes, or any other activity that brought family and others together for fun and laughter.
Marie is survived by her loving husband of 49 years Conrad Vanasse Sr.; sons Conrad "Joe" (Kim) and Jason; Grandson Joshua; brother Ken (Lee) Wilkins; and many loved nieces, nephews, and cousins. She is preceded in death by her parents Howard and Florence (Eilts) Wilkins; brothers Richard Sr. "Dick" and Dennis.
A celebration of Marie's life will be held on Saturday May 4, 2019 from 2-6PM at the Shakopee Community Center.
Per Marie's request a private internment service will take place at Fort Snelling.
In lieu of flowers; cards are welcomed or a donation to a special charity in honor of her is preferred.
