Linda Lee Hacker, age 70, of Motley, Minnesota passed away due to health complications on Sunday, September 1, 2024. Linda was born in St. Paul, MN, September 29, 1953. She grew up in White Bear Lake where she gave birth and raised her son David. Eventually, she met her “Honey Lover” Keith Hacker who she would marry later in life. The two of them moved to Motley and created an outdoor oasis, that she became very proud of.
Linda will be missed dearly by her family and friends. She was always up for an overnight casino run, where she would rub those screens so hard for luck, she’d about tip the machine over. In case you forgot how beautiful she was, she was very quick to remind you by starting every phone call with “Hi, Honey Lover, this is your BEAUTIFUL (mom, auntie, sister), but as quick as the call started, it ended with, “ok I gotta go, bye”. And although Linda’s last few months were filled with constant health battles, she reminded us just how stubborn she was, and made sure the healthcare workers knew it too! She did not go out without a fight!
Linda is survived by her son, David (Angie) Frechette; grandson, Andrew Frechette; half-sisters, Debbie (Sid) Williams and Kari (Glenn) Germain; nieces, Natasha (Phil) Gjertson and Tiffany (Drew) Miller. She was preceded in death by her husband, Keith Hacker; father, Lloyd Frechette Sr.; mother, Donna Mae Osmundson; step-father, Bernard Osmundson; step-mother, Phyllis Frechette; stepson, Cliff Hacker; brother, Lloyd “Jimmy” Frechette Jr.; half-brother, Joel Frechette; and half-sister, Lisa Frechette-Schurmeier.
Details on a Celebration of Life TBD.
