LesLee Anne Bode

LesLee Anne Bode, 80, of Eden Prairie, MN, entered the Kingdom of Heaven on Easter morning, April 9th, 2023, after a valiant battle with cancer. She was surrounded by her three children and her loving husband of 54 years.

LesLee was born on September 11th, 1942, to Donald and Hazelle Brady in Edgar, WI. Although moving around often, she spent her entire life in the Midwest. She loved the changing seasons and being surrounded by her family and friends. After graduating from Paynesville High School in 1960, she went on to study at the MN School of Business. She then began working for the Edina State Bank. Not long after, she met her husband, Allen Bode, at a going away party for a friend. He walked her home that night and they never looked back! They were married on April 12th, 1969, at Paynesville Lutheran Church in Paynesville, MN.

LesLee was preceded in death by her parents, brothers-in-law Ken Bode, Mike Petersen and Mike Barclay. She is survived by her doting husband, Allen, children, Greg (Ann) Bode of Chanhassen, MN, Christopher (Kate) Bode of Austin, TX and Kelly (Mike) Beck of Prior Lake, MN, loving grandchildren Katrina, Tyler, Lauren, Abigail, Gabrielle, Samantha and Chloe, her brother, Rick (Rhonda) Brady, brother-in-law Ron (Marilyn) Bode, sister-in-law Joy (James) Barclay, nieces and nephews Sandi, Charlotte, Karen, Missy, Deedee, Tristan, Janene, Jeff, Kari, John, Anthony and Christine.

A celebration of life is planned for Saturday, April 22nd, 2023, at Immanuel Lutheran Church in Eden Prairie. Visitation will begin at 10:00 am with a service at 11:00 am. A lunch will be served immediately following. All are welcome!
