Kathleen Ann Brink, 70, of Maple Grove, Minnesota, passed away on Thursday, September 17th, 2026 surrounded by her loving sons. She was a cherished mother, grandmother, godmother, sister, and friend and she will be deeply missed.
Kathy was born July 25,1956 in Minneapolis, Minnesota, growing up in the north suburbs. She graduated from Anoka High School, Go Tornadoes! Kathy’s career contained multitudes, from Chicago to Minnesota she experienced a bit of everything. Finance, Marketing, Customer Service and more, she excelled at everything she put her mind too. She had love for all things furry, having spent time caring for animals at the local boarding center. Kathy was a talented artist, she loved to unwind with a good piece of needlework and anything chocolate, later in life she took to painting at SilverCreek. She was a kind soul with an even bigger heart, always there with support or a shoulder to cry on for friends, family and her two sons, which she would describe as her pride and joy.
She was preceded in death by their parents, Eugene and Marjorie Blascyk, and Charles and Bernadine Brink.
She is survived by her children, Dan, Chris (Jenny) Browen; her grandson, C.J.; sisters, Debbie and Diane; first husband, Tim; and countless brothers, sisters, aunts, uncles, nieces, and nephews.
The family would like to thank SilverCreek on Main for the exceptional care and compassion they showed our loved one in her final days.
Family and friends are invited to attend a memorial which will be announced by Dan and Chris at a later date.
In lieu of flowers, please consider making a donation in Kathy's honor to the Dementia Society of America.
