Judy Ann Harn, of Monticello, MN passed away on Saturday, June 13, 2026, at the age of 83. She was born on May 3, 1943, in Minneapolis, MN. Judy graduated from Patrick Henry High School in 1961. She married Gary Harn on November 16, 1962.
Judy was a devoted mother, educator, volunteer, and friend, whose kindness touched countless lives throughout the Monticello community. As a paraprofessional in the Monticello school district, she had a remarkable gift for connecting with children and building meaningful relationships with students, families, and fellow staff members. Her patience, compassion, and genuine care helped countless children feel valued, supported, and loved.
Judy‘s children, Deanna and Cole, were fortunate to attend school in the same district where she worked. Throughout their school years it was common to hear classmates greeting Judy in the hallways by calling her “mom.“ She wasn’t simply known as Deanna‘s or Cole‘s mom - she was everyone’s mom. Her warm smile, caring heart, and welcoming nature made people feel comfortable, accepted, and cared for wherever she went.
Beyond her work education, Judy was deeply committed to serving her faith community. She was an active member of Trinity Lutheran Church, where she served on the Church board and dedicated many years to organizing the church's rummage sale. She took great pride in the event, and in the significant funds it raised to support the church's mission and ministries.
Judy also generously volunteered her time with the Monticello Food Shelf helping ensure that families in need received support and care. Her unwavering commitment to serving others did not go unnoticed. As recognition of her extraordinary volunteer effort and dedication to the community, she was honored as Wright County Senior Citizen Volunteer of the Year.
Judy’s legacy is one of compassion, service, and love. She made every person she encountered feel important, and her impact will continue to be felt through the many lives she touched. She will be remembered, not only for what she did, but for how she made people feel seen, valued, and deeply loved.
