John Eugene Norris

John Eugene Norris, age 76, of Andover, Minnesota, was born on October 31, 1949, and passed away on February 3, 2026.

John was born in Algona, Iowa. When he was young his parents, John and Shirley Norris moved to Eagle Bend, MN where he grew up. He graduated from Eagle Bend High School in 1968. John married his wife, Diane Schraut, in Lastrup, MN in 1970.

Preceded in death by his parents, John and Shirley (Hanson) Norris; brothers, Larry and Ricky Jo; sisters, Kathy and Diane; and sisters-in-law Wanda and Carol.

Survived by his wife, Diane; son, John M. Norris; grandson, Jack Norris; brothers, Harold, Steve, Gary, Roger and Doug (Camille); sisters, Pam (David) Erickson, Barbara (Gary) Haslip, Beverly (Bruce) Rhode, Sherry (Bob) Ulik, and Cindy Smith; and many nephews and nieces.

We would like to thank our family and friends for their care and compassion in John's final days.

A memorial service is set for Friday, February 20, 2026 at St. Patrick's Catholic Church, 19921 Nightingale St NW, Oak Grove, MN 55011. Visitation will be at 10:00am with the service beginning at 11:00am. Luncheon to follow.
