John Francis Healy

we celebrate the life of John Francis Healy, who passed away in Excelsior, Minnesota on Thursday, July 24th, 2025. Born in New York City in 1938, John’s journey was marked by service, integrity, curiosity, and warmth. A proud Navy veteran and accomplished sales executive, John carried discipline and empathy into every facet of his life.

John was a lifelong learner, always seeking new ideas and wisdom. He loved the outdoors and found joy in movement and stillness alike; whether it was running, fishing, hunting, cycling, or grilling and chilling. A faithful reader at church, he brought clarity and compassion to every word he spoke. Above all, John was a devoted husband, a loving father, and a cherished friend.

He is survived by his wife, Kristin; his children, Erin (David), Brendan (Christine), Megan, and Sean (Tess); Kristin’s children, Aly and Ben (Sarah); and his grandchildren, Aiden, Ruby, Brenna, Madison, Drew, Mara, Ethan, Julie, Barrett, and Parker. He joins his grandson, Dunnovan, in heaven. Each one carries a piece of his legacy, resilience, humor, and gentle encouragement to embrace life’s moments.

John was known for saying, “onward and upward” and “make it a great day.” He truly lived by those words, lifting others with his optimism and care.

He will be deeply missed, but forever remembered in the lives he touched and the love he shared.

Family and friends are invited to attend a Funeral Mass at St. Bartholomew Catholic Church (630 E Wayzata Blvd, Wayzata. MN 55391), at 11:00 am on Thursday, August 14th, 2025. Visitation with the family will begin at 10:00 am.
