John Albert Davis

John Albert Davis of Delano, Minnesota passed away on October 15, 2025 at the age of 80 surrounded by loved ones. John was born in Waterloo, Iowa on June 26, 1945 and grew up in Ankeny, Iowa. He graduated from Ankeny High School and Iowa State University. He is preceded in death by his parents, Burnel Edwin Davis and Goldie Hilda Schultz and his brother, Ronald Davis.

He is survived by his loving wife Linda, brothers Randolph Davis of Des Moines, Iowa and Thomas Davis of Wayzata, Minnesota, niece Elizabeth Davis of Minneapolis, and Nephews Carlos Davis and Adrian Davis, both of Iowa. He is also survived by his stepchildren, Anthony Morrison of Spokane, Washington and Linda L. Sanders of Apple Valley, Minnesota as well as his granddaughter, Marina Renken also of Apple Valley. Marina had a very special relationship with her grandpa (Boppa).

The family would like to thank the doctors and nurses of Waconia Ridgeview Medical Center for the care and compassion they showed our loved one before he passed.

Family and friends are invited to a Celebration of Life at 266 Kings Pointe Dr, Delano on December 7 from 12pm to 3pm. John will be interred in a private ceremony at a later date.
