John was a resident of Bloomington, Minnesota, and is remembered in a humorous and lighthearted way.
He is preceded in death by his parents, Paul and Florence Ballinger.
John is survived by his daughter, Cortni McCallister; grandchildren, Carson, Cheyann and Hunter Carroll; brother and sister-in-law, Tom and Glynda Ballinger; sister, Pam Johnson; niece, Beth Rich, as well as many relatives and friends.
He was a good guy.
