JoAnne Boyd Lenzen

JoAnne Boyd Lenzen of Brooklyn Center, Minnesota passed away on Monday, March 24, 2025 at the age of 81. She was born on December 28, 1943 in Williston, ND and grew up in Wolf Point, MT.

JoAnne worked thirty plus years at American Medical Systems and as a lifeguard, swim instructor, and janitor for the City of Brooklyn Center. Her hobbies included cooking, knitting, swimming, reading, and enjoying the activities of her loved ones.

JoAnne is survived by three loving daughters, Jenniffer Bell, Julie (John) Wagner, and Jamie (Dan) Lachman; grandchildren, Andrew, Rheanna, Les, Derrick, Brandon, Kailey, Greg, Dane, Ryley, and Max; great-grandchildren "the Greats"; grand dogs; and her sisters, Vonda Lee Ashberger and Jeanette Phillips.

JoAnne was preceded in death by her parents, James "John" J. Boyd and Furn L. Boyd, and her son-in-law, Drake M. Bell.

JoAnne had zest for life and a wildly colorful sense of humor. She always had a joke or funny story for everyone she encountered. With her infectious smile and incredible wit, she has touched the lives of many.
