Born on September 17, 1971, in Chicago, Illinois, to Francella and Johnnie Williams, he was surrounded by the love of family from the very beginning. He grew up with his siblings Sam, Marilyn, Barbara, Melvin, Junior, Fran, and Dante, and later made his home in Minneapolis, where he built a life filled with love, laughter, hard work, and cherished memories.
He was a devoted husband to his beloved wife Misty, a loving father to Alicia, Lashanda, Jaleel, Little J, Elijah, Enoch, and his bonus children JP, Tim, Malek, Jahvonta, Mia, Markus, and Julius. He was also a proud grandfather to Grace, Judah, Malik, Jasper, Jaleel Jr, and Aria. He loved his family deeply, including his nieces, nephews, extended family in Chicago, and the many friends he held close throughout his life.
Known for his contagious laugh, sharp sense of style, love of sports, fancy cars, cookouts, and being one of the best BBQ cooks around, he had a way of bringing joy wherever he went. He was hardworking, dedicated in his career as an engineer, and respected by those who knew him.
Above all, he loved God and loved his family. He was a great father, husband, brother, uncle, grandfather, and friend. His laughter, love, and unforgettable presence will forever remain in the hearts of all who were blessed to know him.
We take comfort in knowing that he is no longer suffering, no longer in pain, and no longer carrying the burdens of this life. His earthly journey is complete, and we trust that he is now resting peacefully in the presence of the Lord. "And God shall wipe away all tears from their eyes; and there shall be no more death, neither sorrow, nor crying, neither shall there be any more pain." Revelation 21:4
