Henry Samuel Knoll Jr.

Henry Knoll Jr., age 88, of Stillwater, MN, passed away on Friday, September 22, 2023. He was preceded in death by his parents, Henry Sr. and Esther Knoll; son-in-law, Paul Chagnon; daughter-in-law, Jean Knoll. He is survived by his loving wife, Carol; children, Jeffrey, David (Tehia), Jeanine Chagnon (Curt); six grandchildren; two great grandchildren; sister, Gail Branham.

Henry graduated from N. St. Paul High School, the University of Minnesota, and was in the Army at the Pentagon before working at 3M for 33 years. He was interested in electronics from an early age and received his extra class amateur radio license, WAØGOZ. He received many ham radio awards including the ARRL Top Of The Honor Roll. He was a past president of TCDXA. His main interests were ham radio, computers, and reading.

A Memorial Service will be held at 11am on Monday, October 16, 2023 with visitation beginning at 10am at St. Andrew’s Lutheran Church, 900 Stillwater Rd., Mahtomedi, MN 55115. A luncheon will follow the service.

Private interment for family at Fort Snelling National Cemetery on Thursday, October 19, 2023.
