Hazel Ann Gaede, age 79, of Saint Paul, Minnesota passed away peacefully at home on Monday, May 5, 2025.
Hazel was born in Hot Springs, AR to Dorothy and Irl Haynes and moved to a small town in Iowa in 1946. Hazel was meant to live in a big city and adventured to Saint Paul on a solo trip and decided to make it her home.
After a 30 year career as a bookkeeper at a local credit union and five years with the State of Minnesota, she decided it was time to retire and enjoy life, and volunteer at numerous animal organizations.
She is survived by her daughter, Simone; grandson, Jermaine; great-grandson, Torrence; sister, Wanda (Dennis) Niemeyer; and brother, James (Chris) Haynes.
Services will be held at a future date.
