Gordon Dean Twito

Gordon Dean Twito of Hopkins, Minnesota, passed away on May 3, 2025, at the age of 81 after a courageous battle with prostate cancer. He was born in Minneapolis and spent many years in Maple Grove but called Hopkins home. He proudly served as a U.S. Marine in the Vietnam War.

Gordon is preceded in death by his parents Harold and Lois Twito and survived by his children, Brian Twito and Rebecca Gerten(David), and his grandchildren, Ava and Stephen. He will be remembered for his friendly spirit, dedication, and love for his family and friends.

A short service will be held to honor his life and military service at Fort Snelling on Monday June 17th at 11:30am.

Family and friends are invited to attend a Celebration of Life at the Greenfield Apartment clubhouse, 920 Feltl Ct, Hopkins, MN, 55343 on Tuesday, June 17th between 3-6pm.
