Glenn Donald Sande

Glenn Donald Sande, of Coon Rapids, MN, age 93, died peacefully February 3, 2019. He was a loving husband, dad, grandpa, uncle, brother, and good friend. Glenn was one of four brothers, born March 17, 1925 in Nevis MN, raised in Thief River Falls, MN. Proceeded in death by his parents, John and Ella and 2 brothers. Survived and will be missed by his wife of 70 years, Sue; 2 daughters, LeAnn, Alicia (Tom); granddaughter, Erica (Jeremy) and 3 great-grandchildren; Sofia, Jace and Savannah along with many other relatives and friends. Glenn was a humble dedicated husband and family man. He Farmed, was a Mechanic, worked for Metropolitan Transit for 27 years, and was a Lions Club member. In retirement, Glenn loved to read the paper, keep updated with current events, visit, putz and repair anything, have a hot cup of coffee, pet a cat and always had time to spare for giving a hand, all with a grin and a wave. We love and miss him, but every time we think of him he is in our hearts. Funeral service Tuesday, February 12, 11 a.m. at Zion Lutheran Church 1601 S. 4th Ave., Anoka. Social visitation 1 hour prior to service. Memorials preferred in lieu of flowers.
