George Lewis Ocel passed away on Sunday, September 8th, 2024 at the age of 73.
He was born on October 4th, 1950 to Joe and Ida (Tangen) Ocel and grew up in Columbia Heights, MN. George graduated from Columbia Heights High School in 1968 and worked in the tech industry and as a machinist.
George loved old cars and spent many hours working on them and going to car shows.
He was preceded in death by his parents and his older brother, Joe.
George is survived by his sons, Jason (Jaime) and Shane (Sara); significant other, Kay Kingston; sister-in-law, Terri; nieces, Tracie and Kris; six great-nieces and nephews, cousins, friends, and his beloved cat, Cindy.
Celebration of Life gathering will be Thursday, September 26th from 4-7pm at Gearhart Funeral Home, 11275 Foley Blvd NW, Coon Rapids, MN 55448.
