Douglas M. Somers Sr. "Doug", age 73, of Champlin.
Survived by wife of 49 years, Gloria H.; sons, David R., Douglas M. Jr., Christopher E. (Amy); four grandchildren, Stephanie (Ron) Russ, Lynn (Mike) Leiran, Ashley Lawrence, and Griffin Brandenburger; eight great-grandchildren; also survived by many cousins, friends and his "Baby Girl" Cheyenne.
Doug loved to fish, bowl and the MN Twins. Memorials preferred in lieu of flowers.
Celebration of Life will be from noon to 4PM on Sunday, June 23, 2019 at Elsies Bowling Center, 729 Marshall St. NE, Minneapolis, MN. Private interment at Fort Snelling National Cemetery.
