Doris Doroff (Wielinski), born on October 27, 1942, to Valentine and Stella (Czech) Wielinski, in Little Falls, MN, passed away peacefully on Tuesday, December 3, 2024, in Anoka, MN, surrounded by her loving family. She was married to Patrick Doroff for 54 and a half years, a partnership that exemplified love and devotion. Along with her parents, Doris is preceded in death by her brother, Anthony Wielinski, and her sister, Maryann Skelton, who were all waiting to welcome her to heaven.
Doris was a devoted wife, mother, grandmother, and great-grandmother, and she cherished spending time with her family above all else.
She is survived by her devoted husband, Patrick Doroff; loving children,Terry (Tammy) Doroff, Tami (Kyle) Lein, and Brianna (Scott) Doroff. Doris was a proud grandmother to Craig (Samantha) Smith, Cory (Lisa) Smith, Brett Doroff, Braeden Bolnick, Kasen Lein, Karissa (Tim) Jahnke, and Scott (Erla) Cable Jr. Doris was a loving great-grandmother to Riley, Hunter, Arlo, Onyx, Jesse, Eloise, and Maverick. Doris is also survived by her brother, Wally (Carolyn) Wielinski and sister, Rosie Masterson, who will fondly remember her warmth and kindness.
Doris had a passion for reading, an affinity for fishing, and a love for bowling, but nothing compared to the joy she found in her family’s embrace. Doris worked for Mork Clinic, later Riverway Clinic, in Anoka, MN, for 27 years, where she made many lifelong friends.
Doris was a remarkable example of unconditional love, showing her family what it meant to be devoted and caring. Her strong faith in Jesus was evident throughout her life, starting at Our Lady of Lourdes primary school, then at St. Francis Catholic School, leading to St. Stephen's Catholic Church where she joyfully attended masses all of her adult life, a testament to her unwavering spiritual commitment.
She will be deeply missed by all who knew her, but her legacy of love and devotion will live on in the hearts of her family and friends.
There will be a celebration of Doris's life, through a Catholic funeral mass at St. Stephen's Catholic Church (525 Jackson St Anoka, MN 55303) on Saturday, December, 14, 2024. Visitation will be starting at 10:00 am, followed by a funeral service at 11:00 am, with a luncheon to follow, all at the church.
