Donovan Weston Ellendson

Donovan was born in Superior, Wisconsin to Roy and Isadora Ellendson and was the youngest of three children. He attended and graduated from Roosevelt High School in Minneapolis. He later earned a BS in Education from Mankato State University College.

Donovan was a great storyteller, a man of faith and made many lifelong friends. He was an outstanding salesman and truly loved his family with all of his heart. He enjoyed being outdoors, hunting and fishing and in his later years picked up the sport of golf.

Donovan was preceded in death by his parents Roy and Isadora Ellendson; sister and brother in law Karen (Philip) Aaron, and his brother Gerald Ellendson.

Left to cherish his memory is his wife Marlene; children Natalie (James) Pankonin, Alex (Taylor) Ellendson; four grandchildren; nieces, nephews and countless friends.

In lieu of flowers the family kindly requests that those interested make a donation of your choice to honor Donovan’s memory.

A special thank you to all the staff at Eagan Pointe Memory Care and Grace Hospice who cared for Donovan so wonderfully. And to all the special family and friends that allowed Marlene to step out of her caregiver role and spend Donovan's last days, by his side as his wife.
