Delmont "Del" Ray Fredricks Jr.

Delmont "Del" Ray Fredricks of Ramsey, Minnesota, passed away on Friday, June 12, 2026, at the age of 67. He was born on December 24, 1958 in Moorhead, Minnesota, and grew up there. Del graduated from Moorhead State University in 1983 with a BS in Computer Science. He worked as a Software Engineer with United Defense in Eagan, Minnesota and also Smith Medical and Comtrol.

Del was actively involved in church, the Men's Group, and mentoring.

Del was preceded in death by his mother, Mavis Adele Clark, and his father, Delmont Ray Fredricks Sr. He is survived by his wife, Laurie Rey Fredricks; his two sons, Nicholas Fredricks, Aaron Fredricks; daughter, Samantha Fredricks; his siblings, Duane Fredricks, Mary Lee, Steve Fredricks.

The family would like to thank the staff at Mercy Hospital and the Men's Group at Northgate for the care and compassion they showed Del in his final days.

Family and friends are invited to attend a Memorial Service on Saturday, July 11, 2026, at 11am at Northgate Church, 7295 Sunwood Dr. NW, Ramsey, MN, 55303. Visitation begins at 10am. A luncheon will follow the service. It will be livestreamed for those unable to attend.
