Dean Wallentine, age 88, of Chanhassen, MN, journeyed into heaven to join his wives who died of cancer earlier. He served honorably in the Navy and after the service he worked at McGill Jensen until retirement. In his life he had been involved in the VFW, American Legion, and the Chanhassen snowmobile club. His best days were sitting out in his garage with the door open and listening to country music with neighbors, friends, and total strangers who would stop by to solve all of the world's problems. His passing was
unexpected and fast, too fast, to be able to have said one last “I love you and thank you for being our Dad.”
Dean is preceded in death by his first and second wives, LueAnn (Lieser), Evelyn (Erickson); grandchild, Rick Hale. He is survived by daughters, DeeAnn Wallentine-Hale (Rick Hale), Jode Wallentine (Martin Stirrup); grandchildren, Ella, Everett (Sarah Whitrock), Emily.
We wish to thank the Chanhassen Fire Department and Two Twelve Medical Center staff for their care and comfort given to Dean.
In lieu of flowers donations to Tunnel to Towers are appreciated. https://t2t.org/donate/
Enjoy your new life in heaven with the women who have been waiting for you.
