Dean Alfred Collins LTC,USA,RET

away at home on 2/12/2025 after fighting recurrent lung cancer under the care of his spouse Cecelia (Cele RN) and Moments Hospice.

Dean was a LTC in the U.S. Army for over 24 years of active duty service. He is survived by his spouse, Cecelia (Cele) whom he married on

8/25/2007. However, their story together began in 1993. He had two children Christopher (Mardell) Lakeville and Amber Collins , San Antonio, TX

and step daughter Kristen (Jeremy) Mayfield both LTC, USAF active duty in South Korea (Cele's daughter). Dean had a total of 7 grand children:

Ayris, Asher, Adler, and Alex Collins and Jadyn Rollins (Mardell), Bryce Thompson (Amber) and Amelia Mayfield (Kristen).

A Celebration of Life will be held at Hometown Church, 2300 E 88th Street on March 15th, 2025. Visitation will be at 1PM with service at 2PM.
