

Dana Marie Kellogg, a beloved daughter, sister, and friend, passed away on September 25th at the age of 32. Born on November 23rd, 1991, to parents Jim and Tari, she grew up in Plymouth, Minnesota, and was the oldest sibling to her sister, Colleen and brother, Joe. Dana graduated from Wayzata High School in 2010 and found her way into a career as an optician.
Anyone who knew Dana experienced the incredible light and laughter she brought to every situation. Her infectious smile and joyful spirit had a unique way of brightening even the darkest days, making everyone around her feel uplifted and cherished. Whether through a shared joke, a warm embrace, or her genuine interest in others, Dana had an extraordinary ability to create moments of joy and connection that will be deeply missed.
Dana’s profound love for animals was evident in her unwavering devotion to them. Her dog, Bean, was more than just a pet; he was her constant companion and a source of comfort during life’s ups and downs. Whenever she faced challenges, Bean was right by her side, offering a listening ear and warm presence. He brought her immense pride and joy, and Dana showered him with love and affection, often spoiling him with treats and special outings. Their bond was truly special, filled with playful moments and quiet cuddles that created lasting memories. Bean was not just a part of her life - he was a cherished member of the family, embodying the joy and love that Dana so freely shared with those around her.
Dana is survived by her loving parents, Jim and Tari, who provided her with unwavering support and guidance throughout her life; her siblings, Colleen and Joe, who shared countless cherished memories and adventures with her; and her dear friends, who stood by her side through both the joyful moments and the challenging times, offering their love and encouragement. These connections were a testament to the profound impact Dana had on those around her, as she built a network of friendships grounded in compassion and loyalty.
Family and friends are invited to attend an intimate Celebration of Life for Dana at 2pm on Saturday, October 26, at St. Philip the Deacon Lutheran Church, 17205 County Road 6, Plymouth, MN 55447. Visitation begins at 1pm.
