Dale Roth of Minneapolis, MN, passed away on Monday, December 9, 2024, at the age of 94. He was born on August 17, 1930, in St. Paul, MN, where he lived until he married in 1957. Dale worked for the State of Minnesota for 40 years retiring at the age of 60 from the Department of Transportation in the Cement and Soils lab.
Dale enjoyed painting and was known for not signing his work or leaving something unfinished, creating a "Where’s Waldo" type search trying to find what was unfinished.
Dale is preceded in death by his parents, Theodore and Edith Roth; siblings, Nancy, Franklin, Naomi (Horvath), Teddy, Ronnie. He is survived by his wife of 67 years, Marjorie; children, David, Phillip, Greg, Colleen; as well as several grandchildren and great grandchildren.
The family would like to thank the nurses and staff at Fremont Village Senior Living as well the staff from St. Croix Hospice for the care and compassion they showed Dale in his final days.
Family and friends are invited to attend a Celebration of Life Open House at Fremont Village Senior Living, 26369 2nd St. E., Zimmerman, MN, on Saturday, January 25, 2025, from 1pm – 3pm. It will be an informal event where you can come and share any memories you have of Dale with his family.
