Cynthia Ann Parker (Lodin) passed away peacefully on Sunday, June 25th, 2023. Born on July 31, 1948 in Minneapolis to the late Muriel and Henry Parker. Cynthia grew up in numerous cities around the world as her Father and Mother were active in the Navy. Cynthia settled in Richfield, MN where she met Terrence Lodin. Cynthia and Terry were married and together they shared 7 children. As well as being being a homemaker, Cynthia enjoyed a varied work life, as she spent time as an artist, model, Northwest Orient Airlines stewardess, Weight Watchers leader, makeup artist, entrepreneur and realtor. Cynthia loved traveling and exploring new places as well as knitting/crocheting, sewing, home decorating and a good cup of coffee. Cynthia’s favorite pastime was being with her children and grandchildren, who she loved fiercely. Cynthia was a free spirit with a eclectic sense of style and fashion, and had a loving generous heart. Her smile was absolutely contagious!
Cynthia is survived by her 6 children , Kari (Mark) Paidin, Mollie Lodin, Abbi (Justin) Termarsch, Evan (Ashley) Lodin, Spencer Lodin and Step-Son Jon (Amy Lodin), grandchildren Elliot, Quinn, Terrilee, Olivia, Sawyer, Ryder, Landon, Sarah, Tyler and Erika.
Cynthia was preceded in death by her Mother and Father, aunts and uncles. The father of her children, Terry, daughter Sarah and her special friend Dan.
The family would like thank the staff at Lyngblomsten for their care of Cynthia during the last year of her life.
A celebration of life will take place at the end of July. Details to come.
