Cynthia Jean (Greer) Murphy

Age 65 of Inver Grove Heights, MN , passed away May 18th, 2022, after an 8 month battle with pancreatic cancer where she fought each day with strength and courage. Preceded in death by parents, Curtis and Marilyn; brother, Steve.

Survived by sons, Brian, Shawn, and Patrick; grandchildren, Isabella, Aston, and Jamison; sister, Nancy; and dear aunt Lovely.

Cindy was born in St Paul, MN and graduated Johnson High class of ‘74. She was a strong woman, raising three rowdy boys as a single mom while pursuing a full time career and obtaining an associates degree. The compassion and kindness she showed anyone who needed it was always evident, and the love she showed her family was second to none. Her story will live on in the creativity and perseverance she instilled in her sons and grandchildren. The family would like to express their gratitude to the sisters, nurses, and staff at Our Lady of Peace Home for the compassion they showed the family during their greatest time of need.
