Constance Renee Barnes, age 87, of Minneapolis, passed away peacefully on March 1, 2024. She is preceded in death by her husband, Theron; daughter, Colleen; son, Paul. She is survived by her children, Russell (Lisa) Barnes, Maureen (Charley) Nelson, Carolyn (Kent) Van Hoe, Mary Jo (Brian) Gentry; 11 grandchildren; 8 great-grandchildren. Constance was a devoted wife, dedicated mother, and proud grandmother.
Services will be held Friday, March 8 at Calvary Lutheran Church in Golden Valley at 11:30 a.m. with interment of ashes at Fort Snelling National Cemetery on a later date.
Renee gave generously to the Alzheimer’s and American Diabetes Associations but memorials are preferred to a charity of your choice.
