Charles Joseph Kay

Charles Joseph Kay of St. Cloud MN passed away on Sunday December 31, 2023 at the age of 70. He was born on February 24, 1953 in Little Falls, MN. He and his family later moved to Grand Marais, MN.

Chuck graduated from Cooke County High School in 1972. After graduation he joined the Navy. He served during the Vietnam war from 1972 to 1975.

Throughout his life Chuck worked framing houses, then as motel maintenance and on to maintenance engineering.

Charles enjoyed leather tooling as a hobby.

He was preceded in death by his parents Betty Beto Taylor and Richard Kay; half brother Scott Taylor and stepdaughter Hollie Seelen.

Chuck is survived by his wife Bobbie Kay; daughters Robin (Bill) Bodine, Rachel (Ben) Kay and Rochelle Hanson.

Funeral Service for Charles J. Kay will be held on Thursday Jan.18, 2024 at Faith Lutheran Church, 3000 County Rd. 8, SE. St. Cloud MN. With Rev. Joshua Reber officiating with Visitation at 10:00 A.M. Service

At 11:00 A.M. with luncheon to follow at the church. Committal Service at Minnesota State Veteran’s Cemetery 15550 MN-115, Little Falls, MN at 3:00 P.M.
