Chad Scott Holthe came into this world on October 17, 1973, in Edina, Minnesota to Lonny Duane Holthe and Diane Louise Holthe. He passed away July 13, 2023, peacefully in the comfort of his home surrounded by love.
Chad grew up in Minnesota in his early years and then in Oregon spending much of his time with family and friends riding in the sand dunes and enjoying the outdoors in North Bend, Oregon. He graduated from North Bend high school in 1992 and went on to pursue his college education at University of Oregon. He eventually moved back to Minnesota and fell in love Colleen Kelly Dobbins in 2001, they married in 2002.
Chad had a strong bond with his family, especially with his children, Gavin and Peyton, who meant the world to him. He was immensely proud of being their father and cherished every moment he spent with them. Brother to Kimberly Harrison Fletcher and Todd Eric Holthe with whom he shared a one-of-a-kind relationship, always filled with love, humor and joy. He was the calm one who kept us all balanced. In addition to his family life, Chad was also involved in coaching hockey, showing his love for the sport. He was a huge fan of Minnesota Sports, especially the Minnesota Vikings. He had hoped every season, would be the year the Vikings went to the Super Bowl. Well, that day is yet to come.
He is loved by so many and will be missed immensely, but the memories of him will always be cherished by those who knew him and loved him. He will always be in the hearts of his family and friends forever.
Chad was preceded in death by his father Lon Duane Holthe. He is survived by his mother Diane Louise Harrison; sister Kimberly Harrison Fletcher; brother Todd Eric Holthe; son Gavin Harrison Holthe; daughter Peyton Rose Holthe; and Colleen Kelly Dobbins his former spouse and mother of their two children.
