Cecelia Janae Miller passed away in her home in Plymouth, Minnesota on April 11, 2025. Cecelia was 27 years young at the time of her passing. She was discovered by her partner of 8 years, Jeremiah Wicklund, whom she had met in Jeremiah's hometown of Brooklyn Park, Minnesota in September of 2016.
Cecelia was born at Abbott Northwestern Hospital in Minneapolis, Minnesota on May 15, 1997 at 7:25 p.m. to her loving mother and father, Patricia Wilscam and George Miller. Cecelia was born three months early and was immediately transferred to Children's Hospital in Minneapolis after her birth. Because of the nature of her birth, she will forever be known as Patricia and George's miracle baby.
Cecelia graduated from Edina High School in May of 2015.
She is survived by the other three members of her immediate family - her mother Patricia, her father George and her brother Christopher "CJ" Miller.
Cecelia was an old soul. She had wisdom beyond her years. This meant anyone and everyone could rely on her for a listening ear and genuine, heartfelt advice. Her laughter was infectious and filled the souls of anyone who was close enough to hear with joy - which wasn't difficult, as her laughter had quite an echo.
Cecelia was the embodiment of love. She showered love and praise on everyone she knew, or didn't know. She would frequently compliment strangers and brighten their whole day. She felt others' pain as if it were her own. She was the definition of empathy, often to her own detriment, but she would not change for anything. And that is precisely why people loved her, and why they loved her with their entire being.
Cecelia had many, many talents and interests but perhaps the most important (and impressive) was her art. Her artwork was a direct reflection of her soul - and she put her all into every piece she made. Whether it was a painting, or a drawing or watercolor - her creations made people feel. They made them reflect and, above all, they made them smile.
Cecelia was also an avid rock collector. Her favorite thing to hunt and find was agates. Her purse and jacket pockets would always be full of them. She and her partner would take frequent trips to Duluth for their anniversary with one clear goal in mind, bring home more rocks!
Cecelia loved music. She and her friends and family would spend hours upon hours just listening and enjoying music. Cecelia wasn't picky about her music tastes. She was very open-minded. "If I like the music, I like it," she would say. "If it's good, it's good." Nothing else mattered.
Despite the fact that Cecelia is no longer with us, the imprint she left on each and every one of our hearts will be remembered forever. We will always remember her smile. Her laughter. Her passion. Her loyalty.
We are not alone. The love that Cecelia showed all of us is inside us all. And because she left such an imprint on us we will carry that love with us forever.
Rest in peace, Queen Cecelia.
