Carol Clarin, 83, of Stacy, Minnesota, passed away peacefully on February 22, 2025. Born in Little Falls, Carol was raised in St. Cloud and Circle Pines, the beloved daughter of Joseph and Clara Osowski. She was a cherished sister to Joe Jr., Bonnie, Marvin, and Brian.
A 1959 graduate of White Bear Lake High School, Carol went on to attend St. Cloud State University. She worked in insurance and retail before marrying the love of her life, Larry Clarin, in 1963. Together, they built a warm and loving home on a farm in Stacy, Minnesota, where they raised their family and shared more than 50 joyful years of marriage.
Carol was a devoted mother, grandmother, and entrepreneur. She was known for her creativity, strong work ethic, and deep involvement in her community. Over the years, she drove a school bus, ran a cleaning business, and sold Tupperware and Princess House crystal. She was a proud and active member of St. Gregory’s Catholic Church, where she served as a lector, Eucharistic minister, and CCD teacher. Her unwavering faith—especially her devotion to The Divine Mercy—was central to her life.
She was also a longtime member of the Stacy Homemaker’s Club, where she made many lifelong friends and supported numerous local programs. Her adventurous spirit took her on family camping trips, international travels, and many memorable winters in McAllen, Texas, where she built another community of dear friends.
Carol had a special gift for conversation, a love of storytelling, and immense pride in her children and grandchildren. She was an exceptional cook and baker—always ready to share a recipe, whether you asked or not! A self-taught artist and passionate gardener, Carol enriched the lives of all who knew her with her warmth, creativity, and joy.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Larry; daughter, Ann-Marie; son, Bradley; her parents and several in-laws.
Carol is survived by her sons, Wade (Mary), Jason (Jenny); 11 beloved grandchildren, Alise, Julia, Anna, Olivia, Alex, Abby, Addison, Amelia, Ann, Aiden, Allison; her siblings; and many dear relatives and friends.
A Memorial Service will be held on Saturday, May 17, 2025, at 11:00 AM at St. Bridget of Sweden Catholic Church, 13060 Lake Blvd., Lindstrom, Minnesota 55045. Visitation will begin at 10:00 AM, with a luncheon to follow the service.
Carol’s legacy of love, faith, and joy will live on in all who knew her.
