He was an animal lover and over the years owned a piranha, a hen, a bird, lizards, and multiple cats. He enjoyed fishing, biking, bow hunting, and camping in the summer and ice fishing in the winter. One of his favorite things to do was to ride his motorcycle and build things, one including a waterfall and pond in the backyard.
