Blaine Bernard “Buster” Bush passed away on January 5, 2025 at the age of 84. He was born on Sept. 29, 1940 in Proctor, MN where he grew up; graduating from Proctor High School in 1958. In 1960, he rode a motorcycle out west to the state where he lived most of his life: California. Blaine excelled in Accounting and enjoyed his work as a CPA, launching his own private business in 1975. Throughout the years, Blaine’s practice of ‘making clients into friends, not friends into clients’ rang true … as many of his clients can attest! Whether they were hitting a hole-in-one on the golf course or winning big at the horse track, Blaine spent countless hours with his long list of friends …
Blaine is preceded in death by his parents, Blaine Orlando Bush and Roseanna Bernice Nelson; younger siblings, Keith (Kathy) Bush, Betsy (Wayne) Amendola. He is survived by two older sisters, Marjorie (Jerry, deceased) Lind, Marilyn (Dwaine, deceased) Reno; younger brother, Curtis Bush; two daughters, Brenda (Rick) Inman, Beth Ann (Joshua) Young; three grandchildren, Cassandra, Trevor, Avery Inman; as well as many dear nieces, nephews, and other family members.
Blaine will always be remembered for his big smile, kind heart, and generous spirit … what a life he lived!
