Allan Harold Just (1943-2025) passed away peacefully after a courageous battle with cancer, leaving behind a legacy of faith, joy, and service. Growing up in Franklin, Minnesota, he loved playing sports and later earned a mathematics degree. He dedicated his early career to teaching and coaching, positively impacting countless young lives and leading the Dr. Martin Lutheran High School Rams to multiple conference titles.
Al’s infectious laugh and constant smile reflected his joyful spirit, and he saw every moment as an opportunity to share his love for Christ. He loved fishing, Minnesota sports, music, woodworking, time with family, and finding ways to connect with others.
Even during his illness, Allan and his wife, Kathy, built a cottage in Bayfield, WI, demonstrating remarkable strength and perseverance, leaving a lasting impact on his children and grandchildren.
Al was a devoted husband to his beautiful wife, Kathy, and a cherished father, brother, and friend. Allan is survived by his wife, Kathy; his children, Jason (Jessica), Jana, Sheri (Josh), and Rob (Chrissy); his stepchildren, Krista, Joanna (Jeff), Rebecka (Scott), Eric (Cindy), and Lisa (Kevin); nieces, Amanda (Craig), and Ashley (Matt), whom he counted as his children; his beloved 19 grandchildren; brothers, Reg (Rosie), and Steve (Karlene); sister, Bev (Jon); and many nieces, nephews, family and friends who will miss him dearly.
He was preceded in death by his first wife, Sharon Ruth (nee Rodewald), and his parents, Harold and Audrey (Kuester) Just.
His kindness, faith, and devotion will forever be remembered.
