

Aileen Muriel Mangham died peacefully on July 14, 2025 with family at her bedside. She was 99 years and 10 months old. She was born in Seattle on September 18, 2025 to Ingvald and Ragnhild Ramberg. In 1944, as a nursing student, she met and married Charles Mangham MD. Aileen is predeceased by her husband and parents. She is survived by her 3 children, Chas Mangham (Christine), Deborah Siekman (Norman), Joel Mangham (Michele), her sister Norma Younie, 6 beloved grandchildren and many nieces and nephews.
Aileen was a true Seattleite. She loved the Seattle Opera, the Seattle Symphony, the Seattle Art Museum and the Intiman Theater. She loved all things outdoors including skiing, tennis, fishing and boating. She was an avid bridge player and loving grandmother. Aileen will be remembered for her love of life, her infectious laugh and great sense of humor. She was forever the optimist: growing up in rainy Seattle she would often say “I think I see a patch of blue sky”.
Funeral services will be held on Saturday, August 16, 2025, 2 pm at Epiphany Parish of Seattle, 1805 38th Ave, Seattle, WA 98122. Interment to follow at the same location.
