William H Blest Jr. 76, of Ft. Myers, Florida, passed away, Sunday, March 19, 2017. William was born September 25, 1940 in Brooklyn, New York to William H Blest and Anna (Sadlier) Blest. William is survived by his sister Anne Blest; his three children, Angela (Matt) Pfeiffer, Robert (Venus) Blest, Nicole (Jeff) Shaw; his 3 granddaughters Ashley, Allison and Adrianna. William graduated from Erasmus Hall High School in 1959 and continued his education with a BS in Accounting from NYU and then a Masters from Adelphi University. William led a career in Accounting as a Controller at W.R. Grace, Watt Industries and Ocean Colony. William was an avid reader and enjoyed traveling, being outdoors and spending time with his children and grandchildren.
