Stephen Michael Busch

Stephen (Steve) Michael Busch, age 69 of Columbus Ohio passed away on January 29, 2025. Steve was born in Kankakee, Illinois and attended Westview High School. Steve received a Bachelor Degree at Capital University in Columbus, Ohio in 1978 and worked at North Central Mental Health for 39 years. He married his high school sweetheart and family always came first. He loved sports and golfed year-round. He used humor throughout life. He loved to coach up the grandchildren and loved to support their sports.

Steve is predeceased by his father-in-law Wendell McKimson, mother-in-law Elaine McKimson of Kankakee, Illinois, sister-in-law Joyce McKimson of Homestead, Florida. He is survived by wife Debbie Busch of nearly 47 years, their children: Katrina Hacker (Matt), Columbus, Ohio, Erika Price (Matt), Plain City, Ohio; Grandchildren: Kaiden and Carter Hacker, Madalyn Joyce and Caleb Price. Parents Ronald and Miriam Busch of Davenport, Iowa. Siblings: David Busch (Susan), East Moline, Illinois, Karen Highland (Tim), Bloomington, Illinois, Rick Busch (Mary), Newark, Delaware, Gary Busch (Connie), Jupiter, Florida, sister-in-law Teri Smith (Brian), Townsend, Delaware, sister-in-law Linda Landers (Ted), Crossville, Tennessee and many amazing nieces and nephews.

Celebration of life will take place at Christ Lutheran Church at 2314 E. Main Street, Bexley, Ohio 43209, on Friday February 21, with visitation at 10:00 am and service at 11:00 am, Pastor Tim Iseringhausen officiating. Reception to follow service.
