Kipp was an extraordinary man—kind, steady, and devoted in every sense of the word. In his younger years, he was a gifted athlete who excelled in basketball, baseball, and golf, pursuits that reflected both his competitive spirit and his genuine joy for life.
Above all, Kipp was a family man. He took immense pride in being a father and grandfather, and his love for his family was woven into everything he did. Those who knew him will remember his warmth, his humor, and his remarkable ability to make others feel seen, valued, and welcomed.
He created a lifetime of memories with those he loved, and those treasured moments will continue to live on in the hearts of his family and friends.
Kipp is survived by his loving wife, Yvonne Kennedy; stepchildren Lee (Dayna) Prevost, Thomas Prevost, and Elizabeth Stokes; daughter Brandy (Patrick) Roy; son Casey Kennedy; his sister Lois Hobbs; brother Butch (Peggy) Kennedy; and his beloved grandchildren, who brought him endless joy.
Though our hearts are heavy, we are profoundly grateful for the life he lived, the lessons he shared, and the love he gave so freely. His legacy endures in the family he adored and in the many lives he touched.
Services will be held at Bay Pines National Cemetery, 10000 Bay Pines Boulevard, Bay Pines, FL on Monday February 2, 2026 at 1:30 PM.
