Richard Joseph Arcano

Richard J. Arcano, 67, of Venice, FL and formerly of Stamford, CT and Trumbull, CT died January 19, 2018 of Alzheimer’s Disease. Richard is survived by his wife, Wendy Sutherland Arcano, children Brooke Coniglio and Rick Arcano, his mother Justine Arcano, brother Michael Arcano, sister Lisa Arcano-Lanza, four grandchildren, Jake and Matthew Coniglio, Cody Bailey and Brock Arcano, and many aunts, uncles, cousins, nieces and nephews. He was predeceased by his father Joseph R. Arcano. Richard was a Physical Education teacher in Stamford, CT Elementary Schools for 33 years. He also coached recreational sports, Little League baseball, Pop Warner football and basketball. Richard was an avid golfer and enjoyed vacations in Aruba, Florida, Idaho and National Parks. A celebration of life will be held on Saturday, January 27, 2018 at 4:30pm in the Sawgrass Clubhouse on Sawgrass Blvd. in Venice, FL.
