Lois Jeannine Youngblood

She was born on February 2nd 1936 in Carl Junction, Missouri and later lived in Washington, Colorado, California, and Kansas; then finally moved to Naples, Florida in 1970 with her three daughters. Her favorite pastimes were bowling and bingo. You could always expect her to have her bowling ball, shoes, and bingo dabbers in her trunk. As the secretary of many bowling leagues, she calculated the scores by hand. She was a member of the Ladies of the Moose for many years. She worked at various businesses in Naples but what she really loved was being a school bus driver for CCPS, where she worked for over 30 years. She enjoyed driving students to their sporting events, field trips and the Collier County Fair.

If you knew her, you knew she loved red roses and country music-especially Hank Thompson. She had weekly hair appointments and always had a fresh set of nails. What was always most important to her ultimately was spending time with her family, mostly on her porch. Her family spent every holiday at her house- the menu full of family favorites never changed. The kids ran around playing hide & seek and nobody ever wanted to go home.

She is survived by her youngest brother, Joe Cure. Her daughters, Kathy Slavin, Connie Hall, Rhonda Stock (Don). Her grandchildren Jerry Hall (Olena), Justin Hall (Johniece), Amy Slavin, Blake Slavin (Liza), Josh Hall, Patrick Hall. Her great-grandchildren, Dani, Luke, Hayden, Rody, Ayla, Oscar, Jakob, Dan, Lilyann, Aliyah and TJ. She was preceded in death by her siblings David, Gary, Clifford, and Carolyn as well as her son in law R. Carey Slavin and grandson Trevor Hall.
