Linda Marshall Thigpen

Linda found her greatest joy in the people she loved. She treasured her husband, Robert, and was deeply devoted to her children, Jennifer and David. Her family was the center of her world, and she gave them a lifetime of love, laughter, encouragement, and treasured memories.

Linda had a special passion for cooking, a love that brought people together and allowed her to share her generous spirit. Her kitchen was a place of warmth, comfort, and connection. Preparing a meal for those she loved was one of the many ways Linda showed how much she cared.

She also had a deep love for animals and her pets, as well as the many friends who became an important part of her life. Linda enjoyed the simple pleasures that made life special—gathering with friends and family, relaxing by the pool, and spending time beside the ocean. She cherished sunshine, good food, laughter, and, most of all, time spent with the people and animals she held dear.

Linda had a way of making others feel welcome and loved. Her kindness, generosity, laughter, and friendship left a lasting impression on everyone around her. She will be remembered not only for the love she gave, but for the joy she brought into the everyday moments of life.

Linda was preceded in death by her beloved mother, Julienne Marshall, on August 21, 2026.

Taken too soon, she leaves behind her beloved husband, Robert; her daughter, Jennifer; her son, David; and a loving circle of family, friends, and others whose lives were made brighter by knowing her.

Linda’s life was a gift to those around her. The love she shared, the meals she prepared, the friendships she treasured, and the memories she created will continue to live on in the hearts of those who knew and loved her.

In lieu of flowers, the family kindly asks that donations be made in Linda’s memory to the Animal Welfare League of Charlotte County, an organization that reflects Linda’s deep love and compassion for animals.

Linda will be deeply missed, lovingly remembered, and forever celebrated for the beautiful life she shared with those she loved.
