Judith M. Polverari (Simmons) February 21, 1943 - July 18, 2017 Judith M. Polverari went to be with the Lord on July 18, 2017 in Fort Myers, Florida. Judith and William Polverari initially came to Florida as snowbirds 22 years ago and decided three years ago to become permanent residents. In 1961, Judith graduated from DeVilbiss High School in Toledo, Ohio. She worked for Traveler’s Insurance Company for several years, Regan Insurance Agency, then with Phil Roberts Accounting for 10 years. Judith was a member of the American Business Women’s Association, a member of the Ladies Auxiliary for the American Legion of Cape Coral, Florida. She was also a member of the VFW Auxiliary Post 10097 in Fort Myers, Florida where she served as a Chaplain for many years. She married Robert Porter (deceased), then divorced and remarried William F. Polverari on July 12, 1986. Left to cherish her memory are her husband, William F. Polverari, children Heather Porter, Robert Porter, II (Deana), Gina Polverari and Kimberly Polverari. Also surviving are her sisters Karen Simmons and Nancy Gonzalez (Rich), five grandchildren, a niece, great grandchildren and a sister-in-law Janet Vasquez. A celebration of Judith’s life will be held at Fort Myers Beach VFW Post 10097, 17770 Pine Ridge Road, Fort Myers,, FL on August 20, 2017 at 2:00 p.m. Funeral Mass @ St. John XXIII, 13060 Palmetto Street, Fort Myers, FL on August 24, 2017 at 10:00 a.m. and also in Toledo, Ohio at a later date.
