Joseph Chauncey Stottlemyer

Joseph Chauncey Stottlemyer, 88, of Palmetto Florida, passed away on Monday December 30th, 2024 surrounded by his family. A beloved husband, father, and grandfather, Joseph will always be remembered for his kind heart and sense of humor.

Born on November 18, 1936, in Lantz, Maryland, Joseph grew up the only son of Parvin and Goldie Sara-Alice Stottlemyer and brother to three Sisters: Geraldine, Betty, Mary Lou.

Joseph was an avid motorcycle rider, gun enthusiast, and hunter.

On May 24, 1980, Joseph married the love of his life, Denise Helen Rock. The two shared a love that lasted nearly 46 years.

Joseph is survived by his Wife, Denise Stottlemyer, Children, Diane Stottlemyer, Joel Stottlemyer (Maria), Benjamin Stottlemyer (Trinity) and JoAnn Stottlemyer (Becky) as well as his grandchildren Dylan Stottlemyer, Cheyenne Stottlemyer, Jon Ricchi, and Fayt Stottlemyer.

He was preceded in death by his daughter Debbie Kretchmeyer and sisters, Geraldine Fox, Betty Forrest, and Mary Lou Hade.

Services will be held at 53rd Ave Church of Christ, 3412 53rd Ave E Bradenton, Fl 34203 on January 25th, 2025 at 2:00 PM
