John Francis Cummings May 5, 1921 – Dec 9, 2017 John Francis Cummings of North Port, FL, passed away peacefully in his sleep at his home with his wife by his side on Saturday, December 9, 2017. He was born May 5, 1921 and lived mostly in Willoughby, OH, residing the last 17 years in North Port, FL. He was a retired mechanical engineer and could “fix anything” and enjoyed doing it. He is survived by his loving wife of 72 years, Virginia Cummings; Sons, Chuck and Frank; Daughters, Marie Therese, Michele, and Colette and by ten grandchildren and twenty great-grandchildren. Memorial Services will be held at 10:00 AM on Wednesday, December 13, 2017 at San Pedro Catholic Church, 14380 Tamiami Trail, North Port, FL 34287
