Joan attended Manchester High School Class of 1956. She retired as Sales Manager of a large decor company, House of Lloyd that rewarded her and my father the opportunity to travel the world . Joan also loved sharing her love for God and volunteering for New Life for Girls in Dover, Pa as well the York Rescue Mission.
Joan made a lot of friends along the way, but held her childhood and classmate friends as lifelong treasures. She will be remembered for her love for cooking and sharing that love with all.
Joan will be honored privately by family upon Joan's request. A public memorial service has not yet been decided. The outpouring of love and support from family and friends has been of great comfort. We find peace and solitude in knowing that our Mom, Joan (Jo), Nanny Jo, Nanny Geiger, Grandma Geiger, Sis, Momma Gig is in eternal heaven with her Lord and Savior. Where she made sure to share to everyone the story of salvation and eternal life.
Her love will be greatly missed by many.
